The OSO Run Story
The name "Oso" was chosen to embody resilience, strength, and community. Inspired by the bear (oso in Spanish)—a symbol of fortitude and unity—the Oso Run represents individuals coming together to achieve something greater than themselves.
Rooted in the mission of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), this inaugural event highlights the transformative work FCA does in our community, fostering connection and growth through faith and athletics. Aligned with Baylor University's culture of collaboration and faith-based values, the Oso Run provides an opportunity for students, families, local businesses, and the broader Waco community to unite in purpose and celebration, welcoming runners of all skill levels.
